Hi All,

I have been trying to install the CW2K integration adapter on a Solaris 2.7 machine with NNM, and the installation fails when JRE 1.1.6 is installed, has anyone had the same problems, any way around it ?

Cheers

Dav

Dav,

Unfortunately I rarely inhabit the Solaris world, but have seen problems on Windows platforms.

My symptoms are no symbol updates, although MIB's appear to load OK, and the script appears to run OK.

Initially the adapter script was looking under Windows for a very specific default installation path, eg. C:\Program Files\CSCOpx.... and I had the install root under another drive.

The log file I think was the standard CSCOpx install log (it's at the root of the system partition in Windows - not sure if it lives in /opt or maybe /opt/CSCOpx in Sol.) Those log entries were useful when I chose to install NNM integration when installing CDOne but I can't seem to find the log file when doing the integration at a later stage.
