CW2K Server IP Address

What are the ramifications of changing the IP address of the CW2K server:

1. In Same subnet.

2. In another subnet (e.g., in a new VLAN on a 4500 switch).

3. In a totally new network (e.g., re-work IP addressing).

Re: CW2K Server IP Address

Here are the tech tips that tells you what files to update once you change the ip address/hostname of your CW2K server:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/RME/winnt_hostname.html

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/RME/sol_hostname.html

CW2K requires a static ip address and if you change it, ANI and other processes will not work properly.
