Daisy Chained Switch Limitations

If I remember correctly, there are no limitations to the number of switches that can be daisy chained, correct?

Re: Daisy Chained Switch Limitations

Well I've been posting this question on a different forum also and the outcome is:

THERE IS NO LIMIT, besides the bridge ID which maxes out at 65535.

The only reason the diameter of 7 existed was spanning tree and at that it is a very old RECOMMENDATION. The limitations will be the broadcast domain, number of hosts in one flat network and the switches' limitation on the mac table.
