dCEF (and turbo ACL's) and VIP's

From what I have read when you enable dCEF it creates a FIB and adjacency table from the routing table and then sends it to all the VIP linecards.

One question is are there other "things" or features that are downloaded to the VIP's either seperately or in conjunction with dCEF? I'm curious about things like ACL's and compiled ACL's (using ACL turbo). I've heard that acl's are processed by the VIP cards and not the RP. Is that true and is it automatic - seperate from dCEF or part of dCEF

Turbo ACLs are dCEF switched. Named ACLs are CEF switched by the RSP. You can do a show interface e0/0 stat to determine the switching path of packets on that interface ( Distributed cache)
