Default Ports that are open 'Out-of-the-Box' for 3620

I'm having trouble passing pcanywhere and another GE Cimplicity application through a 3620.

What are the default ports that are open by default?

I have tried ip helper-address with ip forward-protocol, but to no avail.

PCA uses 5631 and 5632(udp) of course and the GE Cimplicity project uses 32000.

This is an internal router so I'm not too concerned about security.

Can I use something like access-list 100 permit any any any ...?

Thanks!

A 3620 out of the box with a standard configuration (no ACL's) will route anything. So if you don't have any access-lists applied then sounds like you have a routing issue. Check your default route and make sure you have a route to the other network. Use the command show ip route and see if the subnets show up there. You should be able to ping the address your trying to reach from the router first then try from your host. Also try using ping and traceroute from your host to the PCA machine.

Thanks.

I can ping the hosts both ways through the router. Tracert shows the host then the router as you would expect.

PCAnywhere just times out...

I just can't see why it would be blocked.

Any help would be much appreciated!
