I have a cat4006 Sup3 where I placed all of the ports on the 10/100 card into a VLAN other tha VLAN-1 the default. The 12 ports on the 2 GIgE cards however I have left in VLAN-1. Several of those ports I have setup as trunks already and am passing data. I know that Cisco does not recommend using VLAN1 for user data. How do I now get those ports off of VLAN 1 without causing too much of an interruption. They are connected to an HPProCurve switch where the default VLANs and all other VLAN id's must match(per HP).
Thanks

In a CAT4006 with Sup3, you cannot remove any of the default VLANs from a trunk. This feature is not supported yet.

Just do not have any users in VLAN1 and leave it for management
