delete an access-list

If I want to delete one access-list out of a group. I'm loosing my complete access-list.

How can I prevend this.

Hi Guus,

U can delete the particular access list by using named access list (standard or extended).

Example is as follows...

ip access-list extended test

deny tcp any any eq 5001

permit ip any any

Even if u delete the first statement the last one i.e "permit ip any any" will exist. U can try that...

Thanks, for your ansewer.

But I've seen what is the problem. The subcommand of IP: access-list isn't supported in the Cisco801 and Cisco837. So, your solution will work.That I'm sure of but not in my situation
