On my Cat4k Sup-3 box I configured 2 VLANs that I will not be using so I want to delete them. I have not assigned an IP address to them. When I issue a "sho run", I see the VLANs. When I do a "sho vlan", I do not see the VLANs.
When in config mode, how do I delete them? When I issue a "no vlan 4", it says, vlan 4 does not exist???

Can you please paste the sh ver and part of the sh run that says that vlan 4 is there.
Thanks

I believe you are referreing to layer 3 vlan interface. If so, do the following
Switch#conf terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Switch(config)#no interface vlan 4
