I wld like to know if there's any software that can clearly tell whether poor user experience to an internal ERP system is due to network or application issues, so that we can zoom in the problems. Or if there's any particular method to determine it.
Try using Qcheck,a free utilty from NetIQ. Go to the following URL http://www.netiq.com/qcheck/default.asp. QCheck will enable you to measure the performance and response time between a client and the ERP server.
thanks for the recommendation, however, is there any benchmark or figures fm the Qcheck to determine that it's a network problem ? Meaning that shd i be looking at the response time figures, and what is acceptable numbers to consider it as not a nework problem.
