DFM RME Adapter - DFM truncates RME Device List

DFM Install Doco reads:

If you use the RME Adapter to synchronize the DFM inventory with a list of Essentials devices, and the synchronization causes DFM to exceed this limit, the Essentials device list will be truncated

Has anyone seen this behaviour? What exactly happens? Is there a way to avoid this behaviour but still retain the very useful feature of automatically populating DFM with RME devcies?

Thanks in advance

Q) How many devices can DFM manage?:

A) Standalone DFM can manage up to 1,000 devices and 30,000 ports (of which 15%, or 4,500, are managed ports). If DFM is installed with the LAN Management Solution (LMS) bundle, the bundle limit is 500 devices and the same number of ports (see http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/wr2k/lnmn/). You may occasionally want to verify how many ports are currently managed.
