DFM Trap Forwarding

I'm trying to send SNMP Traps and Fault notices to another NMS (NetCool). I've set up the SNMP and Trap adapters with the IP address and port of the NMS. No dice. I can use the Mail notification, but not the Trap notification. Is there a way to monitor if anything was sent via DFM, or a way to manually send a notice to test the other NMS' ability to recieve my traps? Thanks

How does your trap_notify.conf look like? Did you subscribe to correct profile? Have you done sniffer capture on the DFM server to see if there're traps out?

I looked at the config file and the recipient is the other NMS on port 162. I'm running this on a Win2K box, so I went into CiscoWorks to verify that the adapters were active and pointing to the right NMS. I have not done a sniffer capture yet. I wanted to see if there was an easy way to check on the server itself.

It's working. The other NMS was receiving the traps all along, but didn't have the Cisco MIB's loaded.
