DHCP and Cat 2950

I want PC attached to eg. Port fa0/35 on Cat 2950 and I want PC to have access only to the network 10.0.0.0.

I did it like this ,

-------------------------------

ip access-list extended NO_INT

permit ip any 10.0.0.0 0.255.255.255

interface FastEthernet0/35

switchport access vlan 16

switchport mode access

no ip address

ip access-group NO_INT in

-------------------------------

and it works fine if I don’t use DHCP.

DHCP server’s IP is 10.2.8.10, it is running on Win 2000.

How to solve this problem?

Re: DHCP and Cat 2950

You can add the following line to your access-list to pass the dhcp requests:

access-list 101 permit udp any eq bootpc host 255.255.255.255 eq bootps

Regards,

Leo
