DHCP and Configuring Manual Bindings on a 827

Greetings,

I am currently trying to configure manual bindings on a router using DHCP. Configuring DHCP is relatively easy and painless, but how do you get the DHCP server on the router to statically assign an IP based on MAC address? I located some docs that mentioned using manual bindings, but the router appears to ignore the binding and assign any IP address in the Network pool. Can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong?

ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.0.1 192.168.0.30

!

ip dhcp pool test1

host 192.168.0.55 255.255.255.0

hardware-address 0100.07e9.b9a9.51

default-router 192.168.0.1

dns-server 139.130.4.4

!

ip dhcp pool LAN

network 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0

default-router 192.168.0.1

domain-name test.com

dns-server 139.130.4.4 203.9.249.201

netbios-name-server 192.168.0.20

lease 1 0 10

The hardware-address you have is not vaild. The command hardware-address do does not need 01 as does client-identifier. Try chaning the line to hardware-address 0007.e9b9.a951
