DHCP does not work with Macintosh clients on 4006 switch ??

The Macintosh client-machines are unable to get IP addressfrom DHCP server when plugged

into the (new) c4006 switches (while they worked well with the c3524 switches).

It works after turning spanning-tree off the switch but, it has bad performance.

These clients will get IP addresses from DHCP server but when the Macintosh machine

reboots it takes some 38 seconds for them to start working.

Is it any known issue for this 4006 switch or combinations of Mac clients

(appletalk runs fine, but not IP DHCP)

or Could be a SUP problem ?

any idea ???

Have you enabled Spanning tree portfast? Try enabling "set port host x/y" Document for reference
