I am trying to map MAC to IP in DHCP service but it does not work.
This is the device and commands I am using:
Catalyst 3560 Series PoE-8 (L3 switch)
System image file is "flash:c3560-ipbase-mz.122-35.SE5/c3560-ipbase-mz.122-35.SE5.bin"
ip dhcp pool RGuzman host 172.16.3.24 255.255.255.0 client-identifier 01c8.0aa9.9322.56 default-router 172.16.3.10
*** more commands ommited but configured ***
- I also tried with the hardware-address command and didn't work either.
Note: I first tried it in an operative L3 switch WS-C3560-24PS, System image file is "flash:/c3560-advipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SEE4.bin". Then in a Cisco 871 with c870-advipservicesk9-mz.124-9.T7.bin. It has not worked in any scenario.
