When enabling a DHCP pool you have a option of import all
import all
Imports option parameters into the DHCP database.
What exactly is these options

Hi Per,
I also found that option to be a bit deceptive at first. But here's what it does. Say you have a WAN connection that is running something like PPP and you are learning your DNS server addresses from your ISP using a PPP option. Now, if you wanted to dynamically pass on this information (DNS server address) to your own DHCP clients, you can configure the 'import all' command...
That way, you don't have to hard-code that info in your DHCP pool and it will automatically change if the address received from your ISP changes.
Quite a neat little feature, actually...
