DHCP required for devices connected to a Cat6500

Hi everyone

on a Cat6500 is there a way to prevent devices with static IP addresses from getting access to the network and allow only devices with DHCP addresses? Maybe the combination of dhcp snooping and an access-list?

I believe you are looking for DAI>

Dynamic Arp Inspection.

Check this link, it might help:

Hi

I dont think DAI is the right thing for me. As far as I understand DAI, it intercepts only ARP packets in order to prevent ARP-cache poisening. What I am looking for is a way to drop every packet which stand in contradiction to the DHCP snooping binding table.
