Dhcp using a 1601 router

I would like to use a 1601 router to assign public IP address to users that need direct access to the internet. Trouble is that we have assigned several static addresses to systems and some users. Can I set a dhcp range on the 1601 that can exclude the ip address already staticly assigned to other users??

yes, use the global command "ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.99" This means do not assign ip addresses from .1 to .99.
