dial in using AUX

i have a cisco 3620 , i have attached the aux a modem and configure the modem to accept dial in using

line aux 0

password 445geruigne

modem Dialin

modem autoconfigure type usr_courier

transport input all

speed 115200

flowcontrol hardware

what other configuration should i configure ,sice iam dialing and no response from the modem and router(no request for a username and a password)

When you say no response from the modem/ router, does it mean you do not even get a modem tone? Try connecting the phone to POTS line (that is connected to the modem on aux port) & ensure you can dial & reach that number.

This config appears only for an exec dialin session....add "login" under the line aux 0.
