Dial-up access problem

I want to access router by dial-up, via ppp.

The configuration of router is ...

x25 routing

x29 profile x25-fr 1:0 2:0 3:2 4:1 5:0 6:0 7:21 8:0 9:0 10:0 11:14

interface Ethernet0

description <internet access>

ip address

no ip mroute-cache

no ip route-cache

media-type 10BaseT

interface Serial0

no ip address

no ip mroute-cache

encapsulation x25

no ip route-cache

bandwidth 1544

x25 address 1212501

x25 htc 100

x25 facility windowsize 4 4

x25 facility packetsize 512 512

x25 facility throughput 48000 48000

ip local pool pu_singenta

translate x25 12125010754 profile x25-fr ppp ip-pool scope-name pu_singenta routing

The problem is...

I tried to connect to router by dial-up, but it's failed. so i tested as following.

When i use a PC using OS/WIN98, then it is ok.

When is use a PC using OS/WIN2000, then it is failed.but if i changed the IP-address( of IP-POOL(pu_singenta) into anything else except

"", then it is ok.

As a result, in WIN98, all is ok, but in WIN2000, i can not use IP address ,"", as a pool IP.

I must use IP address, "".

Would you help me.

Re: Dial-up access problem

If it is working under 98, then there must have been some sort of a change in the 2000 kernel, drivers, stack, something. Give Microsoft a shout, as this is not a known issue.
