We have a Cisco 3640 IOS 12.2(5d) with an E1 PRI interface and a MICA modem card. Win XP client's should dialin either with ISDN or analog. All client's could have both, ISDN and analog connections active at the same time (I know, it's strange but true). For that, I'm looking to configure separate dialer interfaces for ISDN dialin and analog dialin for the same user, because I need different ip addresse for the two simultaneous connctions. I'm not sure, how the binding for the analog dialin call to the dialer interface is done (hoe to configure). ISDN works already fine.
I would say you do not need to create the dialer interface for async users.. as async users are terminated on the modems (interface group-async 1) so you can different ip address once you have one ip address pool for dialer interface for isdn users and different ip address pool for async users..
So just configure the different ip address pool (other then pool for isdn users) under the interface group-async x to allocate different ip address to async users.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
