Hi,
I have a Cisco RAS with 8 Analog modems NM.
The users must use the system for dial-out, But have no knowhow regarding TCP ports ect.
How do I dial -out using a group of the analog lines, so the used ports will be automaticaly selected?
Is there a specific port that responsible for the group of all the lines?
I know that in 3Com for example you can do it by dialing to port no 6000, and the call is created by the next free interface.
thank you!

You can either put the lines into a rotary group ("rotary 1"), and then telnet to port 3001, or you can use Dialout software on the PC's and not worry about the port specification.

Do you know where can i get a free software for that?
I downloaded the one that cisco reffered me to, but it is an evaluation, and we are looking for a free tool.

You need to purchase it. Only evaluation copy will be free. Cisco's DialOut/EZ is now end of life so you can get it from another place as mentioned in that url.
