Is there a way to torn off DFM from polling the Serial Interfaces in a MGCP voice gateway? Otherwise it reports a fault every time a call is made and torn down. I would still want DFM to poll the T1 interface and the other interfaces... Just not the serial interfaces. It also appears that every time a call is made, thus a new serial interface is created, DFM sees this as a NEW interface!!! So I can un-manage them, but new ones keep appearing!!!
Re: Disable DFM Polling Voice MGCP Serial Interfaces!
First under the serial interface configure: no logging event link-status
Under the DFM Administration console create your own customized interface threshold group. Go to Threshold tab -> Select Interface Group -> Group (New Group). Setup the matching criteria (name e.g) and set it to a higher priority than the default serial group. Do a reconfigure and the serial interfaces should appear under the newly created group.
