Disable finger on a Cat6509, CatOS?

I've got a customer with a Cat6509 running Cat0S v. 7.1. They want to disable finger on the Sup., at the reccomenedation of a security auditor, but I can't see any indication that finger is even supported. Can anyone point me to a document, one way or the other? Support doc. needed to satisfy security auditor. I've looked in Feature Navigator, command reference, configuration guide. Thanks.

Re: Disable finger on a Cat6509, CatOS?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but catos is layer 2 connectivity and finger is a layer 3 function so it would be shutoff at the msfc is there is one or whatever layer 3 device is doing the routing for the 6509.
