Disable link-down traps on virtual access interfaces

Hello,

i try to disable link-down Traps for the virtual access Interfaces on an Cisco Router with IOS 11.3. The command "no snmp trap link-down" gives me the message "% Please use virtual template to configure your virtual access" but i cant find Information how the virtual template config helps me with my problem.

I am looking for a source of information about this issue.

Any help is welcome

Hello Thomas,

This is defect CSCdm46994: no snmp trap link-status not working for Virtual-Template

It is resolved in newer IOS code
