I just wiped out my router, it is a 2611 using IOS 12.2. When I reloaded the router I keep on getting console messages saying tftp://172.16.2.1/router-config (timed out) (I beleive it is looking for the IOS image on the tftp server, this is after the router is loaded. Does anyone know how to disable this? Thanks,

The previous answer is correct, however, you need to get the router to boot in order to give it the command. Try this - The router will not look for a configuration file from a server unless an interface is up. If any interface can be brought up upon boot, the router will use that interface to try to obtain the configuration. Simply disconnect all of your cables before booting and it will come right up to the "initial configuration" question. You are off and running.
