disconnection times

I have 2 3640 with PRI for dial in access both set up to disconnect users after 10 min of inactivity. but only one of the routers disconnects I have included the setup for the PRI can anyone give me any pointers as to what is wrong. I know that the routers are not running the latest IOS but something works on one router and not the other.

This router disconnects the users after 10 min, but there is no interface Loopback0 defined.

controller E1 1/0

pri-group timeslots 1-8,16

interface Serial1/0:15

ip unnumbered Loopback0

encapsulation ppp

dialer idle-timeout 600

no ip mroute-cache

autodetect encapsulation ppp v120

isdn incoming-voice modem

peer default ip address pool remote

dialer-group 1

Re: disconnection times

Upgrade the first router to 12.0 and it will work. I had the same problem with 11.2 code and when I upgraded the problem was resolved. (mirror the configuration fo the second router to the first as well)

Re: disconnection times

I would say balance the ios 12.0 on both the routers..Here is the good document which explains "understanding and troubleshooting idle-timeouts"

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/idle_timeout.html

Which will help you to troubleshoot the issue.
