Discovery Metrics

During the device discovery, the process hangs at 31%. It does not occur during every discovery, about every third or fourth time. I have to restart the ANI Server whenever it happens, if not, the next scheduled discovery will not execute. I am running LMS 2.2.

If this is Campus Manager 3.3, then have you enabled the Multiple Community Strings ooption in the ANI Discovery Settings?

Thanks for the tip. I did not have the Multiple Community String option enabled. I enabled it and will monitor the upcoming discoveries.

I have the same problem, I have got the "Multiple Community Strings" enabled. I have also stopped and started the:

* ANI process

* dmgtd process

* S10dmgtd process

I also initalised the database by doing:

* reinitdb.pl

I also restored the database but, still no joy.

Can you help. The discovery just hangs dopesn't complete to 100%.
