DLSW - Border Peers and Peer Groups

We have DLSW using Border peers. What I need to know is - if I was to add another router (external router) to peer with our DLSW network does this router need to be part of a peer group or can I configure a local peer statement and a remote peer statement pointing to our Border peer:

dlsw local-peer peer-id 1.1.1.1 prom

dlsw remote-peer 0 tcp 2.2.2.2 (our border peer)

or

dlsw local-peer peer-id 1.1.1.1 group 1 border prom

dlsw remote-peer 0 tcp 2.2.2.2

so, do I need to create a group just for this one router?

thanks in advance

If you want to peer to a router which is a border peer then, either this router must be in the same peer group as the border router, or it must itself be a border router in a different peer group.

In other words, you do need to create a new group for the new router if you do not want to add it to an existing group.
