DLSW Peer loses connectivity

I have 1 (out of 182) dlsw peer that connects to a CIP, over a WAN, that refuses to stay connected. It will connect and then disappear at random intervals, never more than a day.

Any ideas as to what the causes may be will be welcome. I am loathe to run a continous debug as the CIP is fully configured and the debug may causes performance problems.

the peer is defined as follows: dlsw remote-peer 0 tcp 123.123.123.123

Re: DLSW Peer loses connectivity

I used to have a simillar problem. I traced it to link congestion on the WAN link.

Here's a nifty troubleshooting flowchart for DLSw problems. This could be a TCP connection problem (as I did) or a DSLw loop might exist.
