DNIS and ISDN Calls

Hi,

I want to separate isdn users configuration based on DNIS like the modem pooling with analog calls, can anybody tell me how without using a radius. I want users calling 560003 to take an IP from pool1 and users dialing 560001 to take IPs from pool2 , the two dnis are from the same pri line

thank u ,

Re: DNIS and ISDN Calls

You can do modem pooling based on DNIS on 5x00 platforms..That featuer is not available for 3600 related platforms.

Here is the url for that

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/793/access_dial/pri_dnis_mpool.html

You can use the modem pooling config from following url too.

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/793/access_dial/cas_dnis_mpooling.html

As in the above url, you can configure more then one group-async interface for different modem pool with sifferent ip pool config.

Re: DNIS and ISDN Calls

I don't want to do a modem pooling a want to seperate configuration based on dnis on digital calls ( ISDN calls made from an isdn unit) without ending the calls to a modem.

Re: DNIS and ISDN Calls

There really is no way to do this for ISDN calls. The two primary options would be via AAA or using Dialer Profiles, but with Dialer Profiles you would need a dialer interface for every user that dials into the box (does not scale very well, depending on the number of total users).
