DOCSIS-FILE: Port Restrictions

Hi

I need to block some TCP/UDP Ports via DODSIS-Configuration File.

How did you made that? Should i only include the ports i need or exclude the ones i want to block? I only need a few of them.

Who implemented that in a DOCSIS-Enviroment?

Hello,

you need to explicitly block the ports you want to filter. I think it is all in HEX, so you might want to look into using the Internal DOCSIS Configuration File Generator for the Cisco CMTS, check out this link (you need a CCO login though):
