does cat1900 support portfast?

Hi,

I believe cat1900 does not support portfast feature but there is a similar spantree start-forwarding option.

Any comments?

Hi Christina,

In 1900 switch where there is a menu option there is an option to enable port fast mode under Port Configuration Menu

If you have 1900 switch where you need to configure port fast you can use command " spantree start-forwarding "

Use the spantree start-forwarding interface configuration command to enable Port Fast forwarding mode for a nontrunk switch port

This command is similar to spantree portfast command in other high end switches.
