Hi! I am installing cnr 6.0.5 on red hat 9, and the dhcp server doesn't works. I tried a cnr 5 on windows and the dhcp server is working. I download a trial dhcp on linux in the web and it is working too. I compare them and realize that the difference was that on cnr 6.05 on linux the logs shows me

that in the dhcpoffer sends:

ciaddr = 0.0.0.0

yiaddr = 10.0.0.100

siaddr = 0.0.0.0

giaddr = 10.0.0.1

But on windows it sends:

ciaddr = 0.0.0.0

yiaddr = 10.0.0.100

siaddr = 192.168.1.3 (ip of my server where cnr is running)

giaddr = 10.0.0.1

The cnr 6.0.5 never receives a DHCP Response

SO I wonder what I am doing wrong???? It is the first time I configure one on linux, but on windows I have done it several times.

CNR 6.0.x requires Red Hat Linux 7.3 (kernel version 2.4), with Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) 4.0.4:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/ciscoasu/nr/nr60/install/iglinux.htm#1040314, whereas you're on RedHat 9. CNR 6.1 requires 'Red Hat Linux 7.3 (kernel version 2.40) with Package Manager (RPM) 4.0.4, or Red Hat Linux Enterprise ES or WS 2.1 (kernel version 2.4.9-e.24)'
