Does IP address secondary and HSRP work on VLAN interfaces

A Cat 5509 has two supervisor modules with RFSC running HSRP. One of the VLAN's is connected to a TELCO LAN extension service (XYlan switch). The TELCO will soon be adding more remote sites to their LAN Extension service. The requirement is to support several IP subnets on the same VLAN interface. The TELCO does not support any kind of trunking or VLAN encapsulation. Because of this, it seems to be necessary to configure secondary addresses on the VLAN interface. Will this cause any problems with HSRP. Can we configure multiple 'standby IP' statements?

You can configure different stanby groups for different network

between 1 -to- 254. It should work just fine but remember it has

to be a different standby group per subnet (i.e. seconday network configured).
