Q.1: LOOP using HUB???
I have PC (AUX VLAN=100 on the switch) connected to IP Phone (VLAN=99).
Same IP Phone is directly conencted to 10/100T Eth switch port on cat4003.
No Trunk between IP phone and Cat4003
No HUB:
PC <-----> IP Phone <-----> (power+data) MidSPAN (data) <---->Cat4003
MidSPAN is used for Power over Eth, HAs two ports in pair (1st for power+data that goes to the IP Phone and 2nd for data that goes to the cat4003). IP Phone is Avaya switch port type supports 2 VLanN, for voice and PC-data)
HUB:
PC<--->IPPhone<--->(power+data)MidSPAN(data)<--->HUB<--->Cat4003
Sniffer is conneted to HUB
Using PVST+ on Cat4003
As shown above if i connect Sniffer usign HUB
Is ther any chance of forming LOOP by putting HUB between MidSPAN and SW
Q.2: Does cat4003 w/ above version support L2QoS 802.1p Priority?
Part:2: Cat6509 (SUP-1) w/ (v-6.3-3a):

Q.1: Does cat6509 passes the VLAN header on the SPAN port?
for example: I have host conneted to port 2/1 in VLAN=100 and sending VLAN header to cat6509. If i mirror port 2/1 to port 2/48 and connect sniffer to it. . Would i able to see VLAN 802.1p/Q header on sniffer?
If answer is YES, then i do not see that? Any additional config on cat6509?
Q.2: cat6509 SUP1 deos not support DSCP based QoS. BUT does it support 802.1p/Q based priority? If YES can i map that to extended ACL?
