I know that the PDM does not support the alias command, but I am not sure about the Router MC in the VMS solution? Are there any commands that it doesnt support and throws you into a "view only" mode like the PDM does?
If any of the commands are not supported, it will usually give you an unsupported error. So you can entering the command and check. The documentation for VMS is available at the following link. You might be able to find a list of unsupported commands in this.
