We have some spare cisco 2500 routers.
We will be bringing online a E1 connection to a remote location.
Our network is built useing 2900 and 3500's
I want to use the 2500 to terminate the E1, but the 2500 will have to connect to the switch useing dot1Q is this possible ?

No, the 2500 does not support dot1Q, and a darn shame too. Many a plan has been thrown out the window because of that item too. But, we have to remember that the 2500 was designed to be a quick, inexpensive fix to get Cisco equipment in the door at shops that didn't have mega budgets. A masterful marketing/engineering feat that probably made Cisco what it is today.
