DR/BDR (Designated router) maximum LAN segment

Somebody told me that a Router should not a act as DR/BDR for more than 1 LAN segment. In my specific installation I have a 4506 with SUP IV that acts as DR for 5 Segments. Are you aware of such limiation or do you have some link that refers to this topic? Tanks a lot, Moreno Sartorel

That is not an issue. The only thing that I would watch for is processor and memory utilization on the 4506. The DR/BDR process isn't to bad I would think it should be able to handle it.
