DSCP to CoS mappings

Hi,

I am trying to find a Router / Interface card / NM that can do DSCP to CoS(802.1p) mappings. I am running a L3 MPLS network and need to initiate the .1p recognition / translation at the CPE

I have found the WIC-4ESW that can do CoS to DSCP mappings for traffic leaving onto the WAN but it makes no mention of the other way around.

The 16 Port variety that works with the 2600 states that it can do both way translations very clearly in a config guide, however i would like to stick with a 1700 / 1800 router

Anyone done this before, have any suggestions

Thanks

Nathan

As far the 1700 , you are able to set the dscp value on the inbound fast ethernet port of the 1700 so you can do that through an inbound service policy or you can simply set the value on the switch at that location to set the dscp value .Also, set the dscp values on the switch port going out to the 1700 or you can do it directly on the router
