DSL as backup for T1

I have a Point to Point T1 from one office to another that works great. I want to build in a some redundancy by utilizing VPN technology.

I want site A which has a DSL connection to the internet ( and a Point to Point T1 to site B)

to initiate a VPN connection to site B (which has a DSL connection to the Internet and a point to point T1 to site A) over the internet if the T1 should fault?

I know there alot of ways to do this - static routes with an adjusted administrative distance etc..

but what is tried and true on a Cisco 2600

thanks

Re: DSL as backup for T1

Often times complex configuration issues are best addressed in an interactive session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, it’s often difficult to do so for this type of issue.

To utilize the resources at our Technical Assistance Center, please visit http://www.cisco.com/tac and to open a case with one of our TAC engineers, visit http://www.cisco.com/tac/caseopen

If anyone else in the forum has some advice, please reply to this thread.

Thank you for posting.
