The VCI & VPI settings are issued by the ISP
EX] 0 35
You will need to setup the atm interface.
What router are you using?

Hi,
On the ATM link to your router, the ISP is free to assign pretty much any VPI/VCI, since they are locally significant to the link. Typically, they will use something like VPI 1 and VCI 32, for the sake of consistency.
Within the ISP's network, they will usually run a protocol such as PNNI, which will dynamically assign VPIs and VCIs on trunk interfaces.
Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

Paresh
