DSL to 2501 router connection

Is it possible to connect a 2501 router to my DSL modem or router?

Well, It depends..Based on What you want to do by connecting 2501 behind the DSL modem/Router...

Also need to know what kind of technology you got for DSL connection..

Most likely, you will get a DSL modem from your ISP, which will give you an ethernet connection. IF you have a firewall feature set on your 2501, you may cross connect the router's ethernet port to the DSL's ethernet port. You need to setup the ip inspect rules and your access-list first to protect your inside networks (secure) from the Internet (unsecure). It's very important that you have a security policy first before connecting the router to the DSL modem.
