dsl upstream/downstream

Hi all, can anyone explain how what the difference is, i mean as in upstream, is this where you are sending files out from the connection i.e pushing ?

Hi,

Lets say you have a PC connected to a DSL Router for Internet access:

1. Upstream = will be the traffic send by your PC to the Internet.

2. Downstream = will be the traffic that you receive in your PC. For example when you are downloading a file, you are using the downstream BW.
