Dual ISIS routing (IP and CLNS)

Hi

What is going on here?

I have a ring of 4 routers running all ISIS in a dual environment, they are all L2 routers and have formed a L2 adjacency with their directly connected neighbor. IP routing is working fine and I can ping all routers.

If I do a clns ping I can only ping a router that I have a direct adjaceny with. I would have expected to have full clns routing within the L2 area, which I have for IP.

I have tested this with the following IOS

122-7c and 122-17a

Please help!

Kevin:

We would need to see the entries in the CLNS routing table and the result from a couple of pings/trace to start to narrow down the problem.

I suggest that you open a case w/the TAC so that you can work w/someone real-time and get this resolved faster.

Regards. Alvaro.
