I have a Cat6509, I have a small vlan (vlan4) that needs access to vlan1. We currently have a valn2 that is mapped to vlan1 as well, if that matters.
How can I make this link between vlan4 and vlan1 happen?.
Thanks in advance for any help

Do you have VLAN interfaces for vlan 1 and vlan 4 with IP addresses for these two VLANs? If so, and you have IP routing enabled globally, that should be all you need.
If not, I'd suggest configuring the aforementioned VLAN interfaces for the two VLANs and enabling IP routing globally.

I do have the interfaces set up, but do not have ip routing enabled globally. I"ll give that a shot. Thanks for the advice
