Using 2 Cisco 3750's which are connected to each other, is it possible to have, for example the 192.168.50.0 (255.255.255.0)network existing on both routers. I realise that under normal conditions that this would not be possible, but am wondering would the advanced features of the 3750 permit this network duplication safely.

How are the switches connected to each other? With the stack-cable?
If so, the switches are logically one.
And as long as you don't have two different 192.168.50.0-subnets, it should never be a problem. If you have, then you need something that can do NAT-translation. Do you have the standard or enterprise IOS-image?

3750's are l2/l3 switches so it really depends on how you setup the connection . Set one up with a SVI of 192.168.50.0 and then just run a single trunk link to the other 3750 and you have that subnet on both switches. It really depends on how you set it up.
