Do you mean dynamically assigning a port to a vlan? Yes, they are supported and there two ways you can do it.
1. VMPS - With VMPS, you can assign the switch ports to the VLANs dynamically, based on the source Media Access Control (MAC) address of the device that is connected to the port. When you move a host from a port on one switch in the network to a port on another switch in the network, the switch assigns the new port to the proper VLAN for that host dynamically.
2. Using IEEE 802.1x Authentication with VLAN Assignment
You can limit network access for certain users by using VLAN assignment. After successful IEEE 802.1x authentication of a port, the RADIUS server sends the VLAN assignment to configure the switch port. The RADIUS server database maintains the username-to-VLAN mappings, assigning the VLAN based on the username of the client connected to the switch port.
