We are using Cisco 3660
router at the centre.There are fourteen cisco 1750 router that are
remote connected to the centre.Line capacity is 2048 Kbps and remote
side has 64 Kbps CIR and 64 Kbps EIR frame relay communations.
CIR(commited information rate) and EIR (Excess information rate). that
means that Turk Telekom commited half of 64 Kbps (net 32 Kbps) if line
speed 64 Kbps possible EIR will take part and 64 Kbps is running on the
line.EIR and the CIR not valid simulatiously but both of them are
defined on the central router.
Modules are the centre router (Cisco 3660) are as follows.
NM-HDW-1E1-30=20
VWIC-1MFT-E1 this modul is connected to the telephone central (PBX)
Nortel Meridian 1 Option 11 C PBX E1 PRI.
The problem is when fifteen channel are active at the telephone central
voice communication are normal.but when request 16-17----etc. channels
we are not able to call from router.Meridian Technicians say that there
is no problem on meridian side.but also there is no wrong to the cisco
router side.We didnt find the problem.We need your advise.
