eigrp default routes

I believe there are 3 ways of getting a default route in eigrp, If I have 2 routers, 1 has the default network command in, which is the network on the other router, must this other router have a static route on it ? and if so does it need to be redistributed into eigrp on that router ?

thanks

Re: eigrp default routes

Carl,

The best way is just to redistribute the default route in eigrp. There is no need for the "ip default-network" command.

Hope this helps,

Re: eigrp default routes

If I didnt redistribute this in eigrp but say had a static default on router A, and used the ip default network command on router B, would it still work from router B ?
